The original sound for this video was windy audio from the camera microphone. It has been replaced with audio recordings that intend to heighten the feeling of the location and sense of falling into the natural soundscape. Made with Aarti Jadu.
Aarti Jadu delivers a live solo set spanning her many influences and practices from Indian, choral, chant and experimental realms, to create an exhilarating space beyond genre at the Immigration Museum.
This journal is a way of thinking through things as they unfold: an in-between zone, where I can be reflective and loosely theoretical without having to wrangle thoughts into very sturdy or conclusive shapes - the 'beginnings' of thoughts and the opportunity to track incomplete articulations as they appear, perhaps over time creating a kind of looping dialogue that builds on itself in a non-sequential way.
